The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade fasting in succession, day and night, out of mercy for the Islamic nation, but he allowed fasting until dawn (when the Sohour meal was eaten). The Narrative of Abu Said al-Khudli is mentioned in the Hadith of Bukhari, سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقولُ: "لَا تُواصِلُوا فأيُّكُمْ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَُاصِلَ، فَلْيُواصَ.ِلىْسَ. He heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him be upon him) say: "Don't fast day and night continuously, and whoever of you wants to fast day and night, let him fast until the time of Suhoor." [ ② ] This continuous fasting is the fairest and easiest for the fasting person, in fact, it is just a postponed dinner at home. A fasting person has food and drink day and night. If the meal is eaten before dawn, he just transfers the meal from the beginning of the night to the end of the night. His (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) instructions for determining the entry of Ramadan: The Holy Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) has ": Only when the Peach Of Heart new moon is seen, or a witness testifies to see the new moon, can the entry of Ramadan be confirmed. Because he fasted based on the testimony of Ibn Umar and saw the new moon, and once he fasted based on the testimony of a Bedouin, he believed their information, and he did not ask them to testify word. If it was a sighting of the moon, he confirmed the entry of Ramadan based on a reliable moon-seeer ; if it was a witness, he did not order the witness to give a testimony; if the new moon was not seen, there was no witness Seeing the new moon, then, he has perfected the thirty days of the month Sai'abani. If the night of the thirtieth day is cloudy and the moon cannot be seen; he perfects the thirty days of the month of Sai'abani and then fasts.
